"The beautiful is in nature, and it is encountered under the most diverse forms of reality. Once it is found it belongs to art, or rather to the artist who discovers it."

- Gustave Courbet

Saint Ann's Home Grand Rapids, Michigan

Mic Carlson has been personally touched by the life and history of St. Francis of Assisi. This icon of the early church lived in a way that reflected his belief that all creatures were loved by God. To this end, Mic has begun working on a series of bronze statues for this new prayer garden for St. Ann's Home depicting the lessons and life moments of St. Francis of Assisi.

Be a part of this historical opportunity. You have a chance to include your family name in this meditation garden by commemorating a statue. The stories depicted along with each statue may help in your decision of which statue to commemorate to your family or in memory of someone dear.
